The LS series has been specifically designed to combine high cryo-tube capacities and low N2 consumption with convenient storage in cryo-boxes.

This results in low operating costs and long refill intervals. The square shape of the cryo boxes for 5×5 or 10×10 cryo tubes enables clear storage and registration of the samples. This means quick location and removal of samples. The cumbersome handling of cryo tube holders is eliminated.
The four container types cover the range from 750 - 6000 2ml cryotubes. The compact LS750 can be equipped with the cryo box system as well as with conventional round canisters.
The LS3000, LS4800 and LS6000 types can be equipped with CryoCon automatic filling and control units. Approval according to the Medical Devices Act (MPG) 93/42 CE is possible.
The containers can be used for storage in both the gaseous and liquid phases. In the gaseous phase, the two lower compartments must remain free, which reduces the capacity. The equipment with an automatic filling and control unit is recommended for this purpose.
